When making yearly or quarterly plans, I always fail to account for my diminished productivity in august due to the really hot afternoons.
The mornings are alright, but after 15:00 I usually feel too lazy to get out of the sofa to do anything useful.
But that is ok. I just have to accept the facts, make the most of my mornings and use my afternoons to relax at the pool without feeling guilty.
That last part is obviously the most difficult …
Since the beginning of the year I have listened almost every week to Andrew Huberman’s podcast (even though his episodes come in with at least a whopping 90 minutes) and learned a ton.
Last week’s episode is fantastic, since he basically summarizes all scientifically proven protocols from all episodes about optimizing your body and mind.
I have sooo many little habits to adjust!
I prefer ‘surgical reading’ over ‘speed reading’.
