@theotherlinh In my case, DuckDuckGo is my first choice, and if I want to switch search engines for different results I use Startpage (!s in DDG), which uses the Google index, but without the creepiness.

@AndyNicolaides I won’t say no one, but there won’t be many people willing to pay for something they can get fro “free”.

@greghiggins I usually go through my latest photos the day after any major event, so the photos app has had a night to process them.

Procedure:

• Delete relentlessly and keep only the most relevant photos. One or two great photos should be enough to remember the event in the future (but usually I’m keeping about 10 mediocre photos).
• Create a folder for the event.
• Review the people tagged (or not tagged) in the photos.
• Straighten and/or crop.
• Edit only the absolute best photos to look great (and withstand my tendency to edit them all)
• Share the photos with other people present in the event.

@Miraz Oh yes! I still remember hearing someone on the radio explain how he kept a public log of all the web sites he discovered and visited, and thinking “hey, I do the same thing on my web!”
