@pratik I would love to have that setting for the iOS app. I have increased the text size in iOS to be able to read my screen without glasses, and the Micro.blog app inflates that size even further. Often I can’t even fit a single post on screen.

@jsonbecker Time to switch blog host?
@hawaiiboy Interesting, for me it’s exactly the other way around. I do most stuff an the big screen with a proper keyboard and pointing device and have my phone as an emergency device for when I don’t have access to a bigger screen.

@manton I like the way Basecamp has implemented this with their “Boosts”, which gives you the possibility to reply with emojis and/or a very short text. If I remember it correctly you get about 10-15 characters.
This way, Boosts can be used to give feedback without being an actual reply.
@macsparky As a non-member, when I go to that page, I get to see some HTML code. Thought you might want to know…
@toddgrotenhuis You should ask @maique
@theotherlinh In my case, DuckDuckGo is my first choice, and if I want to switch search engines for different results I use Startpage (!s in DDG), which uses the Google index, but without the creepiness.
@AndyNicolaides I won’t say no one, but there won’t be many people willing to pay for something they can get fro “free”.
@dominikhoecht Interesting 🤔 What is it about the Pixel that makes taking photos more attractive than on the iPhone?
@maique I’m in. Thanks a lot!
@maique Done!
@maique Any chance you have a Bluesky invite left?
@frank Goede tip!
@greghiggins I usually go through my latest photos the day after any major event, so the photos app has had a night to process them.
Procedure:
@numericcitizen I hear you. I wish Yahoo! Pipes still existed…
@JohnPhilpin Yes please!
@Miraz Oh yes! I still remember hearing someone on the radio explain how he kept a public log of all the web sites he discovered and visited, and thinking “hey, I do the same thing on my web!”
@Miraz I remember when blogs were called “web logs” 😀 Though not a user of MarsEdit anymore, I loved that app.
@numericcitizen It seems like I took the right decision!
@numericcitizen Last month I was considering buying one, but in the end decided to save the money and use continuity camera as well.
@kaa Bigger is not always better. I also prefer the smaller sizes for my 🍺
@frank A functioning second brain starts with a good capture tool.
@numericcitizen Nice idea! It makes me think of Drafts, but for multi-media capture. You were probably too early with this idea.
