@canion I think what counts as best depends a lot of your personal preferences. The two services you mentioned are generally well regarded. I would add Calm to the list as a third option to evaluate.

@dominikhoecht That depends of course how you have used Spotify in the past. For several years I used Spotify exclusively for listening to new tracks in order to decide whether to buy the track in iTunes (usually the answer was negative). As a result, my Spotify recommendations are horrendous and the main reason why I subscribed to Apple Music instead.
@paulrobertlloyd Nice!
@dominikhoecht I use Inoreader as the backend, but check my feeds in Reeder. I can go very fast through my feed list: swipe right to mark as read, swipe left to send to Instapaper. If the title is very attractive I might read the post in Reeder.
@SnailMailer Thanks 😊
@Annie So true!
@holliston I’ve read them three times so far, and on each read I discover new insights. This is truly a great work. 👍
@ChrisJWilson Looking forward to seeing more of your sketches. Well done 👏
@joebuhlig I believe working in cycles might be useful for almost any kind of business, though I recommend experimenting with details such as cycle length and planning structures.
@joebuhlig We tried it this year, but after a few cycles we found that 8 weeks was too long for us. Probably this is because we are not a development company but more a service business. After some trial, we now work in four-week cycles.
@kitt never ending story
@kitt You can do it!
@kitt This is a real tough challenge. Step one: decide on how to answer the question “how do you do?” without talking about myself…
@pratik I also had Technorati tags on my blog. Has been ages since I last thought about them.
@dominikhoecht I found out who my true friends are when I emigrated in the pre-social network era. Some of my friends I see only once a year face-to-face, but we have no need at all to connect digitally as well.
@dominikhoecht Concerning WhatsApp, I am in a very similar issue. Everybody is using it. My thought is that if I leave, at least part of my contacts will start using alternative platforms (Telegram, Signal, Messages…) just to stay in contact with me, though I will probably loose contact with some people. The idea is to sacrifice myself for the public good and force people to at least consider alternatives.
@dominikhoecht I quit Facebook and Instagram this spring and have never looked back.
I would like to leave WhatsApp as well, but that is going to be a lot harder…
@dominikhoecht The Wayback Machine rocks!
@smokey I have to admit that I ‘lost’ the better part of yesterday in my little worm hole.
@canion The quality of my writing is embarrassing indeed. I have fixed numerous spelling and typing errors. But the contents are the rewarding part; so many events I completely forgot about…
@patrickrhone I like the idea, though I have no immediate uses for it right now.
@macgenie I wholeheartedly recommend you take a look at Acuity Scheduling (owned by Squarespace).
@amit I like the idea of using Twitter as platform for ‘volatile’ posts and using your blog for more timeless content.
@patrickrhone Great stuff!
@johnbrayton Very interesting. This will allow me to follow some blogs which, for reasons I can’t understand, do not have a proper feed.
