@HemisphericViews Looks great! Question: which service did you use to produce the stickers?
@HemisphericViews Looks great! Question: which service did you use to produce the stickers?
@cm I understand. Anyway, that is still faster than I expected.
@cm How long did it take you to create this Sketchnote?
@numericcitizen I usted to do that kind of tweeting all the time in the early days of my blog: I had my own server, wrote my templates from scratch and manually installed all updates for the CMS and all plugins.
Nowadays I’d rather pay a service like micro.blog and post.
@cm Very inspiring seeing your workflow and really loved the idea of drawing over typed out text for consistency. My handwriting is a mess, but I believe with this technique I could produce something attractive.
@canion There will always be more shiny objects…
@canion Perfectly centered! That was a lot more difficult than it seems, right?
@pratik On days when the weather is so bad I can't go outside (which rarely happens over here) I usually dedicate time to cleaning up a room at home in order to get the necessary movement…
@pratik I received the same warning several times at the beginning of the pandemia last year. Since then I resolved that I would leave the house every day, even if it is just for a 5-minute walk.
@herself If I’d had to start over, now I would probably choose Obsidian over Roam Research. Can’t beat text files on my hard drive…
@herself Mostly Roam Research and sometimes the default Notes app.
@jean It was probable my fault. I still had @brid.gy activated from when I was using WordPress for my blog. I have disabled brid.gy for my Twitter account now.
@maique Nice!
@maique Cool, I did not know there were other brands than Slow Watch with 24 hour watches.
@jean Those are tweets from my thread on Twitter cross-posted from https://jeroensangers.com/2021/02/05/day-pets-may.html
@help Thanks for the update. Keep up the great work 👍
@ohBananaJoe I found an entry on Sporg in the Urban Dictionary:
The act of excommunicating someone, abandoning them, or just flat out never talking to them ever again.
“Yo, what ever happened to Mike?”
“Oh yeah we Sporg'd him.”
“Oh, good!”
@frankm I am with you on this one. The first time I heard the word weblog (no the radio) around 1997, is was described as a public register of interesting webs you found. In that sense, link blogs are the original blogs.
@help ¿Why does it sometimes take hours for a page to be updated after I edited it?
@diggingthedigital.com Het lijkt erop dat de International Fixed Calendar geïnspireerd is door de World Season Calendar van Isaac Asimov.
@patrickrhone The International Fixed Calendar seems to be inspired by Isaac Asimov’s World Season Calendar
@gregmoore 🤭 Actually the name was inspired by Harry Bosch www.imdb.com/title/tt3...
@jack I had the same reflection a few weeks back and was thinking about moving it all to Obsidian (though I don’t pay for Roam Research). In the end, I decided that the main reason for using Roam Research is to commit my self to start using my notes in a different way. The problem is never the tool. Since then I made sure to set aside time to:
@ohBananaJoe The fabric covers for the Kindle are definitely better ‘on the touch’.
@ohBananaJoe It's never too late! Nobody said you can’t publish two photos per day…
