@manton I would also like to try this out.
@manton I would also like to try this out.
@pimoore Oh yes. I’ll never want a home wihout outdoor space anymore.
@numericcitizen I’m only human
Of flesh and blood I’m made
Human
Born to make mistakes
@pimoore It’s a very tiny space which we never used for anything else than hanging out clothes to dry. But last year’s lockdown made us decide to put in a table and some chairs and lighting.
@wearsmanyhats The “Wind down” alert in iOS helps me a lot in become aware of when I should go to bed, though I have to admit that I ignore the alert too many times.
@Blog.strategicedge.co.uk Guru? I don’t think so 🤔
@rishabh Great post. Thanks for sharing. I have never actually thought about the definition of leadership and management.
@ericmwalk That might be very difficult: youtu.be/hFZFjoX2c…
@Burk I have been thinking about buying one as well, but decided that I can perfectly wait one more month to see whether there will be any news about pro level macs with Apple Silicon.
@Burk Exactly what the world needs right now: yet another messaging platform.
@pimoore @rom Basically, the way Chartable (chtbl.com) is able to produce download statistics is by inserting it in between the podcast hosting and the podcast player. Podcasts using Chartable simply prefix the audio file URL with a chtbl.com adress, which will then redirect to the original file. Since the chtbl.com address is in the podcast feed, all podcatchers will have the same issue when that domain gets blocked.
@pimoore What’s the benefit of using NextDNS over Cloudflare’s DNS?
@All_That_Jess Welkom Jessica!
@maique Up we go!
@Blog.strategicedge.co.uk Thank you Nicholas.
@dandycat I had the same thought last year, but in the end decided that I don’t really need it when I can use my phone or tablet for the same function through the Touch Portal app.
@canion That’s exactly the reason I try to avoid driving one.
@herself The fact that there is an enormous amount of to do applications in the App Store is an indicator of the wide variety of needs and desires in this field.
I imagine all those developers (a tiny percentage of the population) looking around for their perfect solution and when they can’t find it deciding to poor literally hundreds of hours into creating their own (still imperfect) solution adapted to their way of working.
@Blog.strategicedge.co.uk Nicholas has a sharp eye. I did not notice the London Underground map.
@rishabh It’s an interesting book, but not outstanding. For my taste, a little bit too dense. See also my other reply on this post for a more detailed answer.
@cm If I had to summarize the book, it would be something like:
Declamatory style, sometimes even heavy. Contradictions arise despite the apparent good intentions of the author. Some may object that a successful person urges spiritual answers to those who may be struggling, but he also addresses those who have achieved comfort and yet feel spiritually empty. All those who can stop to contemplate how they could improve their spiritual side will find here much to consider. Brooks’s description of the need for spiritual and emotional awakening refers to earlier American writers, such as Horatio Alger, who urged readers to strive for improvement, even if their path was material progress, and Dale Carnegie, who described how to achieve both friends and influence. These themes appear and reappear at regular intervals in various guises, including Brooks’s highly effective call to reach the second peak of the mountain.
@Miraz Spectacular!
@gr36 I made the jump in September for exactly this reason.
@purisubzi Thank you for introducing me to Yasujirō Ozu 🙏
@numericcitizen My 2013 iMac is getting long in the tooth and I have been waiting for the updated models for some time now. They can’t come soon enough…
