@ohBananaJoe 😂😂😂
@ohBananaJoe In your case it usually is 280 characters plus a screenshot of your completely redesigned mobile home screen 😜
@AlanGMarz The nice thing about a personal blog is that there is no obligation nor commitment, besides the ones I’ve made with myself (and are easy to renegociate).
@manton Twelve years ago I was begging Twitter to offer a paid subscription in order to avoid an ad-based business model. Now it’s way too late. I moved on…
@adders I was not as cool as you, I had the cheaper white version. My neighbor has it and as far as I know it still works.
@maique Just spend 2 minutes searching the car in the fields before I realised that it's parked right behind the pool 😜
@gr36 This is a common problem on many platforms that display all comments as a single chronological ordered list. The solution already exists for a long time in othe rplatforms: simply indent replies under the parent comment.
@amit I don’t care about the number of pages in a book as long as the subject is interesting and the book has been written using the right balance of information and anecdotes.
That said, the longer the book, the higher the probability that the author simply added more stories to explain the information.
On the other hand, there are also a lot of short books which should have been blog posts instead.
@pimoore No, they use an external payment processor using the default interface of my bank. As far as I can tell, they don’t have access to my credit card information.
@pimoore I prefer to wait until my order has arrived (since of course I did not see this while I created my account to place the order).
@gr36 True
@gr36 The GDPR only considers how personal data is stored. I don’t think there is any mention of how to communicate a password…
@jeroensangers Today I had some more time to test the VXLR+ adapter. I put a 3m XLR cable between the adapter and the audio interface, I tried the other XLR input on the interface, I tried it all…
But the hiss is still there 🥲
@ChrisJWilson That sounds like a good description of the online courses on any topic nowadays 😕
@pip Lovely! Is it a completely closed system?
@numericcitizen Most people I have seen blogging on Hey are simply testing it out besides their main blog. I don’t think any of them migrated to Hey. I think it is still early day for those few people who started their first or main blog directly on Hey.
@manton I can see how the same concepts can be expanded to other ‘collections’, such as beer, wine, movies, tv shows, concerts, countries to visit.
The biggest challenge will be to find good open databases to fill the search results.
@manton I would also like to try this out.
@pimoore Oh yes. I'll never want a home wihout outdoor space anymore.
@numericcitizen I'm only human Of flesh and blood I'm made Human Born to make mistakes
@pimoore It’s a very tiny space which we never used for anything else than hanging out clothes to dry. But last year’s lockdown made us decide to put in a table and some chairs and lighting.
@wearsmanyhats The “Wind down” alert in iOS helps me a lot in become aware of when I should go to bed, though I have to admit that I ignore the alert too many times.
@Blog.strategicedge.co.uk Guru? I don’t think so 🤔
@rishabh Great post. Thanks for sharing. I have never actually thought about the definition of leadership and management.
@ericmwalk That might be very difficult: youtu.be/hFZFjoX2c...
