@juha My blog is about me and my thoughts, so I express myself in whatever language is most suitable for the content I want to share. Most of the times, that’s English, but occasionally I also publish texts in Dutch, Spanish or Catalan. Creating a separate space for each language feels like splitting myself up.

@dmnelson I always wonder why other browsers don’t use the system password database and instead insist on using their own siloed database.

@Mtt Sounds like a solid solution. I personally really like having my Micro.blog as the “one site to rule them all” and definitely don’t want to be responsible for my own Mastodon instance.

@Alligator In that case, the iCloud Keychain is not an option. Now that 1Password focusses more and more on enterprises, I usually recommend Bitwarden as a cross-platform solution.

@Alligator The only time I use Windows computers is when I help family members with technical issues on their devices, and I can’t use 1Passwords in those cases either.

ik begrijp niet helemaal wat two-way RSS zo anders maakt dan bv het Micropub protocol.

Zover ik het kan zien, het enige verschil is pull vs. push. Met Micropub beslist de schrijver waar de text heen moet, terwijl iedereen een RSS feed kan opvragen.
