📷 Day 3| Comfort
When working from home you need some essential items: a good chair, good light and comfortable slippers. These arrived just yesterday.

This is the way:
Publish. Consistently. With patience. Own your assets. Don’t let a middleman be your landlord. Yell at Google for blocking your emails and hope it’ll work eventually. Continually push for RSS and an open web. With patience.
📷 Day 2 | Morning beverage
Be water my friend! 🚰 Though I usually start the day with a lemon tea, the rest of the mornings I have this water bottle on my desk.
Last week I started watching The Blacklist on Amazon Prime. Yesterday, suddenly, Amazon states that “This video is currently unavailable to watch in your location”. This unreliability is a major problem with streaming services.
This is the basis for a functioning society:
To reduce conflict in our lives, we need to fully accept the truth that other people are not meant to think the same way as we do, since we all have fundamentally different thinking systems, informed by our past experiences, upbringing, education, the things we read, etc.
Clubhouse: First impressions
The past two days I have been hanging around in Clubhouse.
So far I like it, though I would like to see a broader spectrum of conversation themes. So far, since the platform is full with online marketers, the main topics are “What is Clubhouse?” and “How can I use this platform for marketing my business?”.
I think audio is the perfect medium for establishing conversations, since it’s more personal and faster to produce than written text and it’s easier to get professional quelity than video.
That said, Clubhouse is a closed environment. Surely, soon there will be Clubhouse clones in many forms, but I doubt any open platform will get enough traction to pass Clubhouse as the most popular option.
I’m looking forward to have a conversation with you on Clubhouse. You can find me as always as @JeroenSangers.
This is such an amazing idea by @patrickrhone: pipe your Instagram and Twitter posts to the Day One app, so you can print them out as a book.
