I am worried about my fellow Dutch citizens. The general idea in the Netherlands is that they have the coronavirus under control, but they have not.

The death numbers are following Italy’s numbers and today arrived at the point in which Italy went on lock down (which was already rather late).

Furthermore, the Netherlands are a small country. This amount of deaths has placed them at the 5th position on the ranking of deaths per 100.000 habitants (after San Marino, Italy, Spain and Andorra).

Why doesn’t the Dutch government want to take action?

  1. Because of rivm. In politics no independent thinkers. The rivm downplay everythng and see light points…..The politicians hide behind these ‘expert opinions’ and people not keeping 1.5m distsnce…that way the public is to blame. The whole 1.5m distance is rather debatable anyway. Maybe in a few weeks they will look east afternsifficient deaths. Look at taiwan/s korea etc all the countries wearing masks are doing much better. No herd immunity ideas there, they know this would mean thousands and thousands of deaths…Here they took a gamble….a big one
